Review on LAMY Joy Calligraphy Pen L11 15 by Summer Hendricks

I have this and Pilot Parallel 1.5mm. I like both, this one is definitely not that scratchy to write about. Both have the feeling that you are somehow holding the brush. I like having a snap cap on the twist cap. The construction feels very solid, but is still nice and light. Overall it's a very comfortable feel and finish, writing better on fountain pen paper (aka Rhodia 80gsm) than watercolor paper, at least in my experience. I haven't tried Tomoe River on paper myself, it ejects a lot of ink. Needless to say, it probably isn't rated for regular copy paper (20lbs). Excellent results on my part, would definitely buy for a friend.
