Write well as you should Lamy

Pleasant to use, a bit long but feels good. As well as interchangeable tips (all Safari/Joy/Vista) making it easy to customize the style. For everyday writing, I find the 1.1mm tip works best. 1.5mm gives you a bit more width, but you have to slow down and write bigger letters to make it look nice.

Writes like a dream

I was looking for something similar to a nib so I could practice calligraphy without breaking the nib and cleaning it afterwards. Found this Lamy delight that seems like the perfect solution. The line isn't as sharp as a fountain pen, but it writes very smoothly and always works when the cap is off. I will always buy from reputable sellers as LAMY has many fakes.

Great fountain pen

Great fountain pen! Beautiful and with a very comfortable grip. The 1.5 nib was too big for my small letters so I bought a 1.1 nib. But if your letters are big, then I recommend 1.5mm because it has a very good effect (the difference between thin and thick lines is bigger than a 1.1 pen). I was under the impression that the laminated ink is too viscous so lines can fade when writing fast with a 1.1 nib. But thinner inks like Pilot Irushizuku flow very well.

Smooth surface, good ink flow

I have this and Pilot Parallel 1.5mm. I like both, this one is definitely not that scratchy to write about. Both have the feeling that you are somehow holding the brush. I like having a snap cap on the twist cap. The construction feels very solid, but is still nice and light. Overall it's a very comfortable feel and finish, writing better on fountain pen paper (aka Rhodia 80gsm) than watercolor paper, at least in my experience. I haven't tried Tomoe River on paper myself, it ejects a lot of…
