Bought this kit for a sweatshirt that was missing the latch box. There are many reviews saying the kit "doesn't work" or is useless. For those reading who don't know: the box needs to be clipped at the end of the zipper. This means you need to purchase your own tool/method to do this. I put a drop of industrial glue on the inside of the clip (the long side that presses against the fabric and stays in place) and clamped it with pliers. It fits my #5 zipper perfectly, it just needs to be put on with some force or it's "useless" because it's not really attached. Take a pair of pliers, put some muscle power in, maybe add a dab of heavy duty glue to make sure the box doesn't slide off. Please do not blame the manufacturer for fitting parts incorrectly. I almost didn't buy this product because of the negative reviews. Very glad I did!
