Review on Vermont Maple Back Scratcher Made by Monica Smith

Superior Back Scratch

Superior Back Scratch. I can get anywhere I need to scratch with just the right amount of effort. The scraper is easy to hold, easy to use, and won't bend if you scratch it. or a tape measure and have a partner measure that your hand can reach over your shoulder to where you need to scratch. The back scratcher must be at least this length. This back scratching post is 16 inches long. Using the first 4 inches to hold the stick gives you an extra 12 inches of reach. If 12 inches isn't enough, then this isn't the back-scratcher for you. If you want the teeth of the back scraper to line up exactly with the tips of your four fingers (not including thumbs), the teeth are about 3/16 inch wide. and 1 3/4 inches long. When I scratch my back with my four fingers, they are about 3 inches apart. I personally don't see the size difference as a problem, but YMMV does. If I feel I need a wider scrape width I can use a rear scraper bar.

Pros
  • 3/16" thick, part of the Maple Landmark Slim Back Scratch Series
Cons
  • Large and Bulky
