About me: I'm a woman in my early 30s with overly sensitive, acne-prone combination skin that doesn't respond well to fragrance, unnecessary chemicals, over- and under-cleansing. I'm also a food addict and love trying new things, but that's the only aspect of my beauty routine that hasn't changed in the last 10 years. I've tried everything from drugstore to department store, from Proactiv to La Mer and everything in between, but every time I get lost I'm disappointed and inevitably return to La Roche-Posay. This is the ONLY cleanser that reliably keeps my skin clean and calm without clogging pores or drying me out. I definitely have less acne and a more even skin tone, and when problems arise they tend to resolve much more quickly. It's also worth noting that while it may seem pricey, you only need a small amount to get a rich, rich lather, and one tube lasts around 6 months. Serious. It may not be "organic," but it's fragrance-free and paraben-free, and every woman I've ever recommended it to has come back and praised it.
