There is a couple in the PSU and Zalman-cooler of the processor, connected together in a 4-pin CPU. Everything that I used to put in the PSU crackled due to a non-standard position, or the air made noise due to the proximity of the board, and at reduced constant speeds, the PSU warmed up in games and sometimes passed out. In Chrome with a dozen pages and YouTube, 1080p60 spins at 950-1200 rpm, which can be considered conditionally silent. My goal - at night no rumble is achieved. The main thing in games at 1400 rpm gives a noticeable air flow on the old e5450 and the PSU is now cool when needed. For comparison, on the face of AEROCOOL 12 Rev Red, with reobass up to 950 rpm, it emits a light, non-interfering background, but when it stops, it is immediately clear that the hum has disappeared. There were Gelid Silent 12 (450r), AEROCOOL Motion 12 plus (250r), also quiet, but give a rumble due to worse balancing. Now at night you can only hear the motor of a 5400 rpm HITACHI HDS5C3020ALA632 hard drive, sprung on rubber pads :) In modern motherboards, you can concoct your own script for silence, but the hum will still interfere, and in my old GA-EP43-DS3L there is only one 4pin connector and these valves are just a godsend.
