It fitted my waist well but was too tight for my phone which slipped easily into my pocket when the zip was unzipped. If my phone wasn't in a case, I think this bum bag would work great. My case is not very thick but added enough thickness. Although I really liked the look! Just to confirm my Pixel 3 XL fit in my pocket but was so narrow I couldn't slide it in and out easily. If I didn't have to take it out regularly, this fanny pack would work great.
