Great little humidifier for the baby's room. It helped our 3 month old baby sleep through the night. He's two years old now and the first humidifier fan started running louder and not putting out much vapor. We just bought a second one to replace and at less than $20 it's an absolute bargain. A few things I've learned over the past two years. To clean it once a week, fill it with a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar and soak. Drain the mixture and lightly rub the base to remove the biofilm. Use an old toothbrush to clean the water tank and evaporator tube. Rinse and collect. I think our original humidifier would have lasted longer if we had used filtered water instead of tap water. We used a lot of tap water and you could see mineral build up as well as haze in the room. We have very chlorinated and hard water. Stick with filtered water for this second device. It is very customer-friendly and has a very subtle night light function. Our son loves it and is fascinated by the steam and forest design.
