This is NOT a mystic topaz. TOPAZ NOT QUARTZ. However, they are not even good for what they are. They are cheap, cheap, cheap fakes. Looking at the middle it's obvious that it's just a silver coating on the back to try to mimic the same rainbow effect as the topaz/quartz coating and it's not even a good rainbow, just a dominant purple and green. with a strange silvery-metallic center. You really do get what you pay for here. The only reason I'm not returning them is because I got them for a single function that no one would notice how wrong they are. I thought they were pretty cheap but I'm surprised at how awful they are. After that, they probably end up at a thrift store if they take them at all. BTW, just so you know, "white gold plated" means they are rhodium plated. In fact, this does not mean that they are made of white gold. I already knew what was going on, but I bet a lot of people don't get it.
