This 3-ring punch did not fulfill my purchase purpose. It's well built and lighter than what I've used for years. However, the problem is that there is not enough space between the hole and the edge of the paper, which reduces the strength of the hole compared to a standard 5/16 inch punch. This device makes the hole spacing slightly smaller than 3/16 inch. Upon inspection there is no reason why it was not designed/built with adequate clearance. It works, but I wouldn't order it if the data was available in the product's Revain description. I'm shocked that this poor design measurement continues. It's easy to fix!
