I've tried many dishwashing liquids over the years including inexpensive and well known brands. Cheaper products do not clean dishes well and leave a film on them. Cascade does its job well. but it is usually expensive. BioClean cleans dishes and glasses perfectly without harming the environment and my dishes don't leave a film. We wash dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, so many items are hand washed and never put in the dishwasher. We have an inexpensive dishwasher, but it does the job it was designed to do.
