Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Micha Bukowski (Pax) ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Bought in October and immediately changed shoes. Rubber fresh year production was - 2022, balanced perfectly. According to the behavior on the pavement, at first it was noisy and there was a certain "blurry" impression from taxiing, apparently this is what is called "floating on asphalt". However, these are trifles, since winter (especially this year!) Is not very happy with roads cleared to bare asphalt. On unpaved roads, the ride is confident. I pass through even less cleared yards with snowdrifts, the car does not dig in, but confidently presses the snow and passes perfectly. Taxiing a little less clear, chep on summer tires, but absolutely predictable. Even on the ice, there is no feeling of uncertainty, because. the grip on the ice is excellent, of course, if you don’t scorch. By the way, I immediately liked the spikes when I bought them, and my hopes for their behavior on ice were fully justified. The spikes have not fallen out, at least for several months visually everything is in place. And not even particularly rounded, still sharp. And in general (not only on the spikes), so far the impressions from the rubber are excellent. It remains to check for durability, but for now I expect that there will be enough for three seasons.

Pros
  • Interesting spike. Adequate price tag without overpayment. Has been tested in any winter weather.
Cons
  • Noise when driving on asphalt from spikes
