Hmm, everything is fine: kitchen and dining room

I bought this model because the knobs are covered so I can easily clean them and food doesn't get caught in the knob well. It works well. I don't like an alarm that sounds almost as panicky as a fire alarm. A good sound or volume control would be nice. It has a flashing light and vibrates, but without an apron clip these options are pretty much useless when I'm walking around the kitchen. There is no vibration when the broth is boiling or the pan is sizzling. The alarm option is a bit annoying since I don't use it and have to "scroll" it every time I switch between timer and clock. The timer buttons allow you to count down, but it would be better if I could click the hour and count down the minutes to 45 minutes instead of holding the button (which needs to be pressed fairly hard) to go all the way . to 45. It seems to me that all of these problems could have easily been avoided or fixed in the test kitchen. It does the job though, the magnets are very strong (to the point of scratching the surface) and you won't miss a beep even when you're on the move.
