This is not a terrible bowl. Worked for me for about a year. But I noticed some interesting problems. I'm not sure if this is related to another part of my setup and to be honest I have a pretty cheap setup: two used Numark 1650 Direct Drive TTs and a TERRIBLE Monoprice mixer. On a few Technics bowls I noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in signal to noise ratio. Even changing the wires on the ADJ shells didn't improve the noise as much as changing the shells. The quality of the material that makes up the shell is also not as heavy and durable as the Technics shells. Also, they get damaged very easily. The small metal pin on the end of the jack that connects to the tonearm was damaged very easily and I had to bend it into place with pliers. If you're just starting out in vinyl DJing like me, this is a great place to start. But after about a year of use, it was definitely time for me to upgrade. And the difference in sound quality and weight is quite big.
