Great for transporting my fat cat!

I have a large (read: overweight) cat that I adopted about two years ago (note: he was fat when I adopted him! We are working to lose weight without harming health and make him happy). I had a hard shell carrier but it was too heavy to carry due to the added weight of the cat. With the sides of this carrier folded out, my 17 pound Siamese mix fits in the carrier. I wouldn't leave him there for long periods of time as he can only really lie down or roll over, but for transport to the car or to the vet this carrier is great. My cat hates being put in a carrier. When he knows he's being pinched or trapped in something, he usually runs or hides. Putting him in this carrier is easy. Everything from the zips and flaps down, allowing room to open and place the cat. I usually leave the carrier open and in the rooms he frequents when not in use and I've noticed on more than one occasion how readily he takes a nap in the carrier. The backpack straps are great. Rolling the stretcher requires you to "tilt" the stretcher and pet it about 45 degrees (which my cat does NOT like). You can ride your bikes straight, but it's more difficult to cover long distances in this form.
