We ordered this bottle cage for our 8 year old's bike which doesn't have pre-drilled holes for the bottle cage. Advantages: - Easy to apply. No holes/screws required. You can attach it to your bike with two Velcro straps. - Has a drawstring to tighten around the bottle. - Fits regular 20 ounce plastic water bottles and thinner water bottles. - Small mesh pocket for storing other small items. Cons: - The weight of the water bottle can cause the holder to slip and/or rotate around the frame over time. You can try to avoid this by tightening the straps as much as possible, but I'm not sure how they will hold up over a long ride or over time. Thicker water bottles will not fit the neck of the holder. it's a bit clunky for kids bikes. This can get in the way of small feet and pedals as space is limited on small bikes.
