I was looking for minimal running shoes but didn't want to spend the $100+ I saw on the list. I risked these shoes from entrepreneur Jason. The shoes are very stylish, I'm glad I have a rounder toe. When I opened the shoe box I smelled chemicals, maybe the shoes were treated or something, maybe not really leather but they were ventilated. Time will tell if they stand the test of time. Edith, who wore shoes for the first time, felt very comfortable. However, the boot soiled my white socks. This has never happened to me with any shoe. Apparently of low quality, they used paint on the inside of the shoes. I know these shoes don't stand up to the elements and I had to return them. I expect at least basic quality for my money, too bad.
