I was initially happy with the duvet as it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Color and weight were good. However, after the first wash, it's clearly not meant to be reused. The first wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with wool left greasy (or dark) stains all over the comforter. no longer attractive. Other washes caused larger and more noticeable stains. I barely made it past the return deadline to return the others I bought. My old brown blanket from Wal-Mart that I was trying to replace which is about 4 years old with a monthly wash behind the belt still looks better than this junk. This will be a new cover for the car when dogs travel with us or donate to an animal shelter. I don't recommend if you never plan on washing it.
