I ordered this for our new electric chair sofas. I'm glad the couch manufacturers went with the C13 connection, the standard computer power cable interface. The sofa is divisible so that only one side is next to the socket. The other side, facing the living room, is nowhere near an outlet and not too easy to get to. In order not to use an extension cord somewhere in the middle of the sofa, I bought this cord, which works great. The rectangular fork also goes in the right direction. I forgot to check that when ordering. I suggest you verify that the correct angle is right for your application. Since the C13 connector is at the very edge of the sofa, the right corner going the wrong way would be a deal breaker for me. You need the right angle or the right angle that came with the sofa. The cable is flexible but feels like it will last a long time.
