Every year we buy our Keen or Merrel sandals for our kids. Something with a big tread that you can play rough on and get wet. You wear them all spring and summer. At our local amusement park, on walks/bikes, at the beach etc. They take a lot of getting used to. This year is no exception. I have to leave them early for a trip to Disney World. (Tip: just wear these water/hiking sandals and you won't have to worry about changing your wet socks.) The Easter Bunny brought these for our youngest. More expensive shoes are usually bought with a view to passing them on later. As the last of 4 children, I didn't have a pair in this size for him and bought the "cheap" version. These shoes are just as good as our Keens. Continuous. Those are the soles. Good quality. I've held out so far. definitely recommend! Update: Still a great price but they don't last. Worst of all they don't seem to be breathing and our little ones feet are smelly which was never a problem for Keen. I was wrong.
