Not ideal for a 2012 Impala even if you cut.
Not perfect for 2012 Impala even if trimmed. They leave the driver's accelerator pedal open and there's no mat underneath. They look good and the quality is good. If you're picky about how they fit factory floor mats, then they're not for you if you own a 2006-13 Impala. They work great and you can drill a hole to attach it to the pin on the driver's side. For the money they look very cool and work very well, except for the gap under the gas pedal. I just bought a cheap $1.50 clear sheet from Wal-Mart and put it under the accelerator pedal.
