Sure, the design isn't perfect, but it works if used very carefully. If you use dowels with small socket head screws, they will slip out of the handle of the tool during operation. I fixed this by adding a small washer to the anchor. The washer can be removed after installing the anchor. If the anchors have a plastic washer, this gets worse because they are slippery. delete them The tool is finicky and needs to be positioned perfectly or the anchor bolt will slip out. May leave marks on the wall if you are not very careful. There are no instructions included. I suggest practicing a few times before using it in a real application.
