The description says this is for a 2006 350Z but I installed this on my 2008 M35x which has the same VQ35de engine. For those interested in getting a ztube but can't reuse their own air intakes (due to splits, cracks, rubber wear), this is the best solution I've found. No modification required, fits flush between stock airbox and throttle body. , and even comes with its own clips. The vacuum hose slides and attaches under the silicone inlet hose via a swivel elbow fitting, rather than to the side of the standard hose. There's a noticeable difference in the suction growl that comes from under the hood. The intake temperature is 6-10° higher than the ambient temperature (according to my torque application), which is the same value that the OEM gave me. Increase HP. I do not know. I won't get into the dynamometer discussion, but my 0-60 times went from 6.85 to 6.61 (also according to the Torque app). This was my last mod before I get UPREV next week. The tune includes a MotorDyne fan seal, Megan full spool, HPS intake and K&N air filter.
