Review on 📱 Secure-Fit DuraClip Combo Belt Clip Holster Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 (Smooth Black) by Mitch Garrido

Edit: I just got a Galaxy S8 belt case and holster clip (secure fit) SlimShield Armor from Encased (Samsung S8) ( Smooth Black) and outperforms this version in almost every way (for me). I didn't buy it initially because I couldn't find it on Revain, so I bought it direct from Encased. I will do a full review of this product separately but as this is not a verified Revain purchase I doubt anyone will read it. Pros: - True Vertical Carry/Release. in or out. Solid positive locking. Robust construction. The holster can be used as a stand. The slim case offers lightweight protection. Cases and holsters can be purchased/used separately. if preferred to be used with a holster - however this introduces a small margin which is barely noticeable or can be corrected with adhesive foam). It offers less protection but reduces all dimensions by one to two millimeters and exposes the rounded edges of the screen much better. Cons: - It is uncomfortable to grip the phone with one hand. - The soft interior material doesn't reach the bottom of the holster (probably about 4/5 of full coverage). You can only insert your phone into this case from the long side of the phone. I've used similar Encased products on my recent phones because I love the versatility of this holster and the other to suit your positioning needs. I can also carry my phone in my pocket with a case and it works great and provides an extra grip surface. The back cover also retains much of the screen's appearance when snapped to the top/bottom of the phone, leaving most of the rounded edges of the screen exposed. I removed one star because the extendable stand is very difficult to insert. Some break-in time may be required. This is a great cover for its intended purpose. Unfortunately, it probably won't do me much good. I like to carry my phone upright and having to insert the phone from the side just isn't practical for everyday use - it's inconvenient and I spend way too much time securing my phone in a case. I'm also a little concerned that if I carry it vertically I'll somehow loosen the phone and it'll fall to the ground - unfortunately, the side insertion/extraction also means it doesn't have to slide much to remove the holster. If you're looking for a minimalist holster bag and prefer to carry it horizontally, this is the one for you.
