Review on Zojirushi NS-LHC05 Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer: Efficient Stainless Dark Brown Appliance by Seth Damain

Reduced size from 10 Zojirushi cups to this 3-cup Zojirushi Rice Cooker (NS-LHC05XT). Lots of space. So I finally broke down and downsized to this 3 cup Zojirushi and I'm really glad I did! ADVANTAGES: - Compact! Saves space in the kitchen. Still has all the features I need (brown rice, oatmeal, white rice, blended rice, jasmine rice, quick, reheat, and 2 timer settings). VAT) - Comes with rice bowl and rice spoon - Very easy to use - Rice always comes out perfect! CONS: - BE SURE TO CLICK "CANCEL" when you're done! (or just turn it off) *** That was a complete slap in the face for me. I've had MANY rice cookers in the past and this is the first rice cooker that doesn't turn itself off when I remove part of the bowl. I knew NOTHING about it and my rice cooker "stayed warm" until the next morning when there was NOTHING in it, not even a bowl. There is no "cork" function. So when I try to pick up the rice, the bowl in the rice cooker keeps spinning and I'm concerned that this might damage/scratch the bottom of the cooker. My 10 cup rice cooker had a handle on the bowl that was attached to the rice cooker and didn't allow it to rotate. Overall I am happy with the quality of this product and will continue to purchase the Zojirushi brand for my rice cooker.
