Review on KeylessOption Black Shell Case and Button Pad for Replacement 5 Button Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob by Blake Pudic

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor fit, plastic and buttons are very cheap. You get what you pay for.

The lid never closed to begin with and it really felt like the back was being pushed out where something was wrong. I dropped the keys once and it cracked so the lid closed but it came off very easily. Now it's even more torn to the point that the lid doesn't close at all and had to use tape to close it. The button symbols have been screen printed so the most commonly used buttons are hidden and not visible at all. Strangely, the emergency button is completely gone and I don't think it was used at all. I realize it's my fault for the tear as I dropped the key fob while getting out of the car, but the plastic is very brittle. Given the purpose of the case, I hope the plastic would have been thicker or stiffer to withstand at least one drop. Bottom line: don't expect the cap to last more than a year or two, let alone if it's dropped from any distance before replacing it.
