I bought a set of five kabuki brushes, which is now a little overkill for me (how many kabuki brushes can you have?), but I was very intrigued by the set and dedication to the company . First impression. The packaging is great. The brushes come individually wrapped and the brush holder is packed in a box filled with pink confetti and a very cute sticker (which I won't ruin for you :), it makes a great gift for any makeup lover. packets for every brush they give out and a terrible smell. Seriously they smelled awful which was the first turn off. I immediately washed them with my favorite method, baby shampoo, and the smell was gone. I'm still not a fan of the idea that the brushes were loaded with chemicals, but that's the only downside. The brushes are AMAZING. Incredibly dense and full yet incredibly soft and takes makeup so well. They apply effortlessly and really give your skin an airbrushed look. So easy to use and yet so effective. These brushes are much better than the Sigma Kabuki although they are a bit different, the Sigma has a slightly larger head and is fluffier but they are denser and just as soft as the Sigma and I find that the density allows for better application. I won't be using my Sigma anytime soon. These brushes are also heavy. Very strong wooden handle with a durable metal tip, you can tell the quality just by holding it in your hands. When I received the set, the leather tube was too small to hold all the brushes and I was very confused. I contacted the seller who responded immediately and said they had made their brushes more dense which in turn caused them to get bigger and not all fit in the tube. She told me they were in the process of making a new, larger pipe and offered to send me one when they were done in a few months. Well during this time the seller kept me updated on the production of their tubes and indeed I received one via email wrapped in pink tissue paper. This tube is perfect for storing all your brushes, it's made of beautiful leather and is very durable. The beauty junkies really care about the satisfaction of their customers and have responded very friendly and quickly. I have since purchased several of their other products because I appreciate their great quality and great customer service. You can't go wrong with this brush or this company.
