Beta fish I haven't had any problems for 2 months. Have this to have a little protection and it is said to help the pH of the water. It just turned the water brown and made my Betta itch. Over the next few weeks I will be changing the water by 10-25% depending on how long it has been since the last water change. Despite everything, the water remained brown and my friend seemed very annoyed. I emptied and washed the stones (which is very important because there is a bed of bacteria). I threw away half the stones and added some new (washed) stones but the water was still brown. Had to fresh aquarium water, ick treatment, bacteria starter, water conditioner, anti stress drops and start over. I would not advise.
