This Ethernet cable is too fragile for most applications. If you use cable clamps to attach it to the wall, it may get pinched and it will stop working. If you step on it anywhere, it may flatten and stop working. If you pull it, the screen may stretch and stop working. If you repeatedly plug and unplug it from the device, the RJ45 connector may detach and it will stop working. If the connector is loose (I did) don't try to crimp the new connector as that probably won't work - at least it didn't work for me after 45 minutes of effort. seems reasonable for this flimsy cable: if you need to splice two things and the cable is fully protected in a conduit or wall and no one ever touches either end then it will work great.
