I used this kit to rewire my solar system. This set is perfect because you can cut it to the right length that suits your situation. Buying precut/crimped connectors can get expensive depending on the size of your battery. Tip 2: Make sure you have the right crimping tools for your connectors. This is not possible with standard pliers or electric pliers. These 2 AWG cables and connectors are designed for very harsh environments. I used my metal vise to do the job. It was difficult, but it worked. Second, figure out how many cords you're going to cut. Remember that you use 4 connectors for each cable set (2 each for plus and minus). I had to buy 2 extra plugs from the store because I needed 3 sets of cables, 6 total, so 12 plugs. Great DIY kit because it gives you flexibility!
