Just what I needed to open my ear piercing. I used to have 3 holes in each ear but 2/3 closed, I needed those pointy rivets to open them again. I also wanted something made out of surgical steel that wouldn't irritate me and could last 6 weeks or more. They fitted the bill exactly, and aside from having to wait days for me to clench my teeth and pop my ear piercings, they worked surprisingly well. I didn't buy a gun as most of the holes were half open. Also, they are individually sealed so I don't have to worry about sterilizing them separately. I'm glad I bought the 12 pack as I have a habit of losing these cleats. The CZ size is a bit larger than what I usually wear as I like very minimalist jewelry BUT it's only for a few weeks and I can wear whatever I want. You are not so pretentious where I would count the weeks. I have already added a set of multiple birthstones to my wish list for my next Revain order. For those times when I'm not thinking of wearing classy or cute earrings these sets are the perfect default choice to keep your piercing open which, I just twisted it and slipped it through my ears, always leaving the earrings in ! The clicks on the back are tight and don't move. I put a couple of them in my first piercing before reopening the others and after they were put in they didn't move. I think I read a review about spins being loose but I haven't encountered this issue and have opened 3 packs out of 12 so far.
