Review on Zinc-Free Waterproof Denture Adhesive Strips - Extra Firm Hold for πŸ’¦ Lower Dentures - 15 Strips per Pack (2 Packs) - Secure Comfort by Ronnie Sorensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as advertised BUT.

I have used SECURE Adhesive and Sea Bond Strips in the past and thought it was a "great idea" and gave it a try. that's an hour plus. Placing them in dentures is a fairly simple task. Don't try to crop first, even if it seems like the easiest way. The lining fits very well and stays in place, after that you need to use the smallest scissors to cut off the excess SECURE lining. Do your best to cut as close as possible without the liner overlapping the top of your denture. Then simply insert the lower prosthesis and hold it in place, either by biting down or by pressing and holding for a few minutes. Not a bad taste, but I felt a slight tingling or burning sensation. That might not have been because of the glue, but rather because of the design of the liners. The liner is not as thin as when using the Sea Bond liner and also seemed to swell up a bit after installation and in place. For me, this increase in liner thickness was enough to create discomfort when I rub my bottom molars against the bottom of my tongue. The bottom line was that the dentures had to be taken out and the secure liner removed. Once removed, the liner looked like a piece of gauze that may well have been coated with Secure's adhesive. It was difficult to remove adhesive residue from the gums and denture. The liner itself had to be grabbed with a paper towel so it could be pulled out.
