So, for context, I don't wear makeup every day and when I do apply makeup it's pretty light, but this stuff works like a charm, dissolving melting mascara, brow pencil and concealer without it to cause irritation. I have chronically dry eyes and the skin around my eyes is EXTREMELY sensitive. The makeup removers I've used in the past have left the eye area red and sore because the formula either had too many irritating ingredients or was so ineffective that I had to rub hard to remove the makeup . Not so with this product! You can see that the liquid inside is divided into 2 layers as it contains both water and oil components. This is important as many makeup products only dissolve in oil to help it stick to the face. By shaking, you emulsify the remover, which means the oily components can break down and trap makeup particles, and the watery components then make them easy to wash off without removing your skin. I can also say that it doesn't contain any colourings, flavorings or other extraneous substances, which is great if you're sensitive to these things like me. And of course, the fact that you get 2 bottles for $7.99 makes this both a great product and a great deal. Definitely hoping they stay in stock at Revain as I will definitely be buying more as I get beyond what I have!
