Review on 🐦 Harrison's Superfine High Potency Blend - 1 Pound by Christina Adams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My canary's health is improving very quickly and he loves it.

I took my canary to the avian vet. My new canary was showing symptoms of malnutrition. I told my vet that I would swap my canary for Kaytee Exact Rainbow Canary/Finch (Grainy). He said it was very good food and also recommended Harrison's High Potency Granules. On the first day I offered Kaytee Exact Rainbow exclusively in a separate bowl without seeds in a cage. On the first day, the canary just ate it from hunger. The next day he didn't eat anything. After that I mixed it with the seeds and I don't think he touched the granules. The next day I tried to soak them and wet them with his favorite vitamin powder, but he wouldn't touch it. Pellets, although I also gave him the seeds in a separate bowl at the same time. That day he became more energetic and started trying to sing, which he hadn't done before. I should mention that the "small" pellets are too big for him making it difficult for him to eat, so I chopped them up into smaller pieces and he loves it even more. He's still eating the seed, but he's also eating Harrison's pellets whether I offer the seed or not. However, he seems to prefer Harrison pellets over seeds. He is still in the transition and I usually just give him pellets in the morning and seeds late afternoon and he feels fine but even when I do seed him he still seems to prefer pellets. Whether or not you continue to offer seeds as a supplement, I definitely recommend feeding this product as a main food. My canary is doing much better. He's starting to sing again, he's much more active and energetic than before, he's been sitting quietly on a pole all day. Super fine sized pellets and more traders because I needed it right away.
