My lamp was pretty tricky considering you have to turn the light on and off to get it into sync mode. flashes with full brightness. The app is slow to find lightbulbs, but it finds them and works well with Google Home. Asking Google to turn off the light in bed is what the point is. They are better than other lamps I have in terms of brightness and color.
