Overall this is a great mic. The sound is decent, the ergonomics excellent. I have used this mic on Mac OS, Windows and Linux and it works as expected except for. Pay attention to the function of the mute button. This is not a hardware mute, it is dependent on your computer's operating system, which means the mute button may not work as expected if your computer is not communicating properly with the microphone hardware. I found out about this after updating my Macbook and the mute button was acting unpredictably and showing it's muted (red LED) when it's not actually muted, which obviously can lead to potentially awkward moments. I was able to test this theory on Linux using Pulsesound, where I could change the state of the mute button via software. It took me a while to figure this out and if I had known straight away after buying it I would have returned this mic as reliable mute is one of the most important features for me.
