Review on Efficient Cooling with Four Seasons 58098 A/C Compressor: Beat the Heat! by Marcus Amillion

I professionally installed this supercharger on my '69 Pontiac Catalina along with brand new components for the rest of the factory air system. I figured that by switching to a new one instead of a refurbished one, I would avoid the risk of instant failure. The compressor broke down after about an hour of suburban driving and now made an extremely loud whistle while running, similar to a broken bearing or piston. In a car with the windows open, it's loud enough to be unbearable and louder than with the windows down and the air conditioning off. The compressor needs to be replaced. After a call to the Four Seasons Customer Service Department, Revain is not an authorized Four Seasons compressor reseller. My guarantee is not honored. Another $300 for what appears to be a scam. Buyers be careful. Don't waste your time and money.
