I definitely needed another EF to R ring mount and Viltrox is the one. This ring mount adapter responds well. I set my ring to aperture control but I tested it with shutter speed and ISO and it worked great! It's very snug to the body and feels secure when I mount one of my lenses on it. My heaviest lens is the Canon EF 70-200 F/2.8 USM mk I and it easily handles a 5 pound lens.
