The results of a comparison comparison: The version for laundry, after several tests, did not remove the smell of cat urine from the clothes, but different versions . HOW TO: I've used a specialty detergent in the washing machine several times, increasing the amount of product, on the same clothes, and it hasn't removed the cat pee smell. I tried soaking some smaller clothes at full strength but the smell still lingered. Last night I compared this product and the wash version side by side. It's not specifically made to be washed (so you should test the garment thoroughly first, although another product probably says so too). I had two identical dirty items. I let both products marinate in full versions of each for over an hour, turning them frequently, then rinsing and drying them. THE LAUNDRY VERSION STILL DID NOT ELIMINATE THE ODOR BUT THIS PRODUCT HAS IT. It doesn't get any clearer.
