We have two black and red German Shepherds so they hide in the dark. You can hear them coming at you at full speed, but you can't see them until they're practically at your feet. I thought these collars would help with that. They really do. The collars are basically like one big fiber optic cable, so you can easily cut the plastic collar to fit your dog with a razor blade. They may not look very bright in daylight or in a lighted room, but they glow outside in the dark. Our dogs didn't care that they were wearing them. They definitely make dogs more visible.
