Review on 💄 Hillsdale Furniture Canal Street Vanity Stool in Elegant White and Cream - Enhance Your Décor by Kristi Marshall

I've been looking for a dressing table that would complement my decor perfectly and here it is. I combined it with my Ikea dressing table and the height is perfect. For some reason I thought it was cream colored (pictures lead me to that idea). Anyway, it's white and the seat cushion is cream. It's also really sturdy, not flimsy at all as it's a 'good weight'. So let's start with the fact that this is a beautiful chair. I can see what people were talking about with directions. There is only one page with 2 pictures. I don't know if it's fair to call them instructions because they don't tell you what to do. They have to rely on common sense and they have to fix it! I'll tell you the following: 1. There are 4 large screws - they are used to attach the seat cushion. 2. Do not tighten the screws at first, as you will need some slack to align all the parts. It will look like they don't fit or match, but it will take a little work. not much, but it's not exactly easy. I have someone help insert the rod while I turn the screw. At first it looked like the holes on the bottom of the pillow didn't line up, but when I inserted the first two from the front it worked. Overall, I'm glad it took about 20-30 minutes to set up. I gave this item 3 stars due to the vague instructions and the fact that it takes some effort to attach the pieces.
