Worth Buying Rechargeable

[+] OVERVIEW: I needed a vacuum for my car and home for quick cleaning. I looked at rechargeable vacuums but didn't like the short battery life. When the battery runs out, all you have to do is place it on the charger. I tried this one because it plugs straight into the cigarette lighter, meaning there's no time limit. There are several things you can do to convert your cigarette lighter plug into a home power source. 1) I already have a battery that outputs DC to the cigarette lighter socket so problem solved for me (3.3 pounds). 100W Portable Solar Generator (200W Peak) (UPS, Inverter) - 40800mAh Battery, 150Wh - Solar/AC/Vehicle Charger Cable - 2 AC Ports & 3 DC 12V Ports & 2 USB Ports ). This makes it fully portable inside or outside the vehicle. I just carry the battery wherever I want to vacuum. I could see this being great for booths with limited outlets. Example: You can vacuum a boat. 2) You can get AC-DC Wall Converter (ALITOVE 110V 240V 12V 10A 120W AC-DC Converter, Power Adapter, Cigarette Lighter Socket, AC/DC Transformer for car vacuum cleaner, car refrigerator and other car appliances). This turns the DC cigarette plug into a standard household plug, allowing you to use it as a regular "plug-in" vacuum cleaner around the house. Notes: 1) Read the important comment below on converters. 2) The link to the converter should go to the page that states the 10A (amp) auto converter. Double check to make sure this is the case as you have the opportunity to choose from many different boost converters on the same product page. 3) The battery UPS I bought is no longer available. I found another similar one for those interested: ACOPOWER 150Wh Portable Solar Generator Power Source Energy Battery Lithium Ion Battery Charged by Solar/AC/Cars with Dual AC Ports, 3 DC Ports, 2 USB Ports (HY-S320) I have read various reviews on suction and in general guys look it runs on 12VDC. It cannot be compared to an upright vacuum cleaner. That being said, I think it sucks up pretty well. It picks up what you would expect, which is loose dirt on the carpet. If you put your hand on the end of the nozzle, you can pretty much feel the suction on your hand. For what it's designed for I think it's about as good as this type of vacuum can get. I am very happy with the performance. They were smart in design to easily empty the device. I also love how you can wash and reuse the filter. The noise is again the same as that of a vacuum cleaner, neither louder nor quieter. Really happy with the purchase and glad I chose this option instead of buying a rechargeable vacuum and having to deal with batteries that die after a few months (as I read in the reviews) . Hope that helps! :) If you have any other questions please write and I will try to answer. [+] Important when using a household AC-DC converter: In order to convert AC to DC, it is not enough to just do the conversion. Another aspect to consider is the amount of electricity that can be drawn during the conversion. For example, if the converter can draw 2 amps, it's fine to power a phone charger, but not a vacuum cleaner. A vacuum cleaner motor uses much more energy than a cell phone charger. Therefore, the converter must be able to handle more amps. A car's cigarette lighter socket typically has a 15 amp fuse, making 15 amps the upper limit for current draw from the cigarette lighter. So we know that this device (or any other cigarette lighter device) cannot be rated for more than 15 amps on just that. . I've read some other comments that say this vacuum draws up to 10 amps. I looked on my device and couldn't find any information about amps or watts (i.e. if you know watts you can calculate amps). Regardless, I'm looking and the biggest AC-DC converter for cigarette adapters I've found is 10 amps. There were others at 8.5 amps and 5 amps. Anything under 5 amps will definitely not be enough and will likely overload the converter as it will attempt to draw more amps than it can handle. Under the circumstances and with this information, I feel comfortable if you want to power this vacuum cleaner indoors using a household outlet. The safest option is to use the 10 amp AC to DC converter I listed in this review. [31. July. , Update 2017] Now I use this vacuum cleaner all the time. It's so quick and convenient that I grab it and clean up the mess with no problem. Even things like spilling sugar or powder on the counter. Instead of swiping and swiping, I just grab and go. This is a good block and very well designed. I'll update my post if there's ever a problem, but it's worked like a charm so far. [6. Oct 2017] Just giving everyone an update. I still use this vacuum cleaner, it works great! I'm glad I bought it. Highly recommended.[3. June 2018]I have found another use for this vacuum cleaner. Perfectly removes hair after a haircut at home. It's great because it gets the job done and it's easier to take out and put away than lugging a vacuum around the house.[July 26, 2018]I'm finding more and more uses for this vacuum. I actually used it to suck flies. If there's a fly buzzing around a window or light, I just point the nozzle in that direction and try to follow the fly, and eventually the fly will cross the suction path. This works best for those little mosquitoes or fruit flies that you get when you buy Pinnacle. These babies buzz much slower than flies and I usually suck them off fairly easily. This is great because I don't have to worry about knocking things over if I'm trying to break them. Pretty cool.ps.
