This is what I need to avoid carrying so many lanyards in my purse/backpack. You can charge more than one device, but charging will be slow. I plugged in my Samsung 9 and it showed 1 hour 9 minutes to charge. I connected the headset to the micro USB and the phone charging time increased to 1 hour 21 minutes. Actually not a big jump. Also of note is that I was not able to use this cable with my work iPhone to use Apple Car Play. I have a cable in my car specifically for this, so it's not a big deal for me, but it might be for you.
