I like the quilted look with pleats and yellow flowers. The thinness is ideal for cold summer nights when you don't want to sleep while the air conditioner or fan blows on you. My heavy blanket made a lot of noise in the washing machine because it was a material that looked like crocheted rope. When the washing machine was filled with water, this created an imbalance in the load. The edge of the washing machine once broke off because the washing machine blocked during the spin cycle and I couldn't distribute the blanket any longer. This makes this lightweight blanket much lighter and easier to wash.
