The first one worked for about 3 weeks then the power to the DVR started flickering (cycled off and back on) and finally stopped powering the DVR . Article replaced by Revain. Swapping went on every 2 days with the same symptoms (turning on and off, LED on adapter flashing on and off) and then eventually died after flickering for about 5 minutes. I am very disappointed with the quality of the adapter, especially since it is a simple and elegant solution that works well, at least until it stops working. Edited: The seller got back to me very quickly to try to resolve the issue. You will examine unusual failures that I have encountered. The upgrade to 3 stars for support will change with further updates. Further edit: The manufacturer provided another item that works fine. Looks like they changed the design as there is a new version available. Great support, definitely try a newer model if you're looking.
