My 11 year old loves Mother's Days, nostalgia for my era. He loves Rocko's modern life, you're scared of the dark good burger, whatever. He often wears a Double Dare hat he kept in his Nick Box when talking about how great my era was (obviously I'm twilight). For Christmas I really wanted to give him a gift that would top things like an iPad, a hoverboard, you know his "era". So I ordered Surge. He knows how much I loved that soda when I was younger, I tell him stories about how Nana had to lock her up because I could swallow a can in one gulp (this ability helped me later when I was in college (was, maybe one day that will be a different story.) Well, it's Christmas morning here, he opens his present and a squeak can be heard all over town. Nothing to do with those expensive gifts, just his award-winning Surge possession, a can he's already drunk and photographed to show his friends. I'm the number one mom now, not just on the block, in the city, in the whole damn world. I guess the gifts of this will help us get through puberty and teenage angst, I mean who can hate a mother who gives you Surge? As for my now adult taste buds, I mean let's bring a few more things back and I can live every day of my youth. I'm not sure my body would take it, but that's fine, beggars don't have a choice.
