I know it has protected my lighter from damage and weathering in the rain/snow. The slogan isn't a cheap freebie, as one might expect. The included SUPRUS is very durable and eye-catching thanks to the orange whistle. It really costs $5 alone. Ideal for outdoor emergencies. Price: Overall, this lighter is a steal. I've used it outdoors with the included lighter and my own. It even helped me when my windshield wasn't working. I would recommend this lighter to anyone and would buy another one without hesitation.
