Review on πŸ”§ Milton 470 TR 416 Tubeless Tire Valve Clamp - Pack of 5 by Leon Johnsson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tough, efficient and fits both standard US rim hole sizes.

The most common valve stems snap into the rim hole. This works well with tire pressures up to about 65 psi. The lock in the shaft can jump out at higher pressures. In these cases - or for those who prefer a stronger stem - a clamp in the valve stem is the solution. These stems attach to the rim with a nut and are rated for tire pressures in excess of 100psi. .435" hole for valve stem. Heavy trucks and some light trucks use a .625" bore rim. All valve stems are keyed and most are clamped to fit one size or another. The beauty of these pieces is that a piece can fit in any hole This is achieved by the supply of two rubber O-rings, one for .625 and one for .435 There are other brands but my experience with other brands of fasteners has convinced me to go with Milton or Camel to stay. Maybe it doesn't matter with the stem clamp, but I've decided to stick with the big name. I definitely love these! Stable fit (slightly diluted liquid dish soap is a good lube to push the sealing bead into the hole) , solid construction, comes with a metal cap (it should be anyway) and will fit any of my US rims I will be getting more of these I bought from the Eddies store In the desc The text says "Box 5". I have a. Only one. I contacted Shop Eddies and they said "this appears to be a listing error" (but their listing is still there) and recommended that I return it. give it back But I ordered this because I wanted 5 of them. So I sent another message saying I would like 5 valve stems which they sent to me after they accepted my order. what they did I received the other 4 valve stems. There was an extra rubber o-ring in the box and these 4 valve stems came with metal caps - the first one I got didn't have a cap. I ended up getting what I ordered but I had to hassle them to get the order completed as stated and the first batch was missing the lid and the second had an extra seal - I wonder who bought one and their share didn't got stamps. You reacted quickly. In conclusion - I love valve pairs - and would consider buying from Shop Eddies again but they won't be my first choice.
