When using a Dell OEM 65W PSU (DP/N 74VT4) with this Dell XPS 18 1820 AIO dongle, the XPS 18 will not correctly recognize 65W through the dongle. Instead, a PSU warning is displayed during POST indicating that a 65W PSU is required. I've tested this with both a Dell 65w PSU and a Dell 130w PSU and the result is the same. As long as the XPS has enough power I think it doesn't matter. I will buy another dongle to see if the first one is defective - don't damage my XPS battery if it is. Otherwise this key is a great find as it means I can use any Dell laptop power adapter I have with XPS.
