Before switching to these shoes for my swallow in these tires, I skated for a number of seasons on Nordman 7, which is where I started off. After leaving the tire store, the very first thing I want to make a note of is: "did they change my shoes for sure?" The tires are extraordinarily quiet (of course, not on a summer highway, but in comparison to Nordman, it's just heaven and earth, the same Continental ice contact 3 is much noisier). Some customers said in the comments that they experienced difficulties when using the brakes on wet pavement. However, today I drove on this whole day (around the same highway/city), and when I was driving at reasonable speeds, I didn't notice anything like that; the braking was completely acceptable. Buying is something that I strongly advise doing.
